It carries the flavors of my youth, home, and culture. Rooted in Jamaican Ital traditions and shaped by years of sharing meals across the world, Taste of Ital brings people together through flavorsome, nourishing, plant-based food, prepared with respect for the land and the body.

WHAT ITAL MEANS
Ital is often described as a way of eating, but for me, it’s a way of living.
It is choosing foods that’s alive - fresh, clean ingredients that support clarity, balance, and a sense of connection to the earth. It’s also how the food is prepared: with intention. No excess. No shortcuts. No rush. Just what the body recognizes as real.
When food is prepared this way, it doesn’t just feed the body. It shapes how we feel, how we move through the world, and how we connect with each other.
WHY I SHARE ITAL
I don’t share Ital to convert anyone. I share it because I’m passionate about offering another, more uplifting way of cooking and enjoying food.
A way to experience food that feels grounding, nourishing, and accessible - and above all: surprises your taste buds with a blend of sunny, colourful flavors.
It’s a way to reconnect with culture, our roots, and learning about ourselves without heaviness or judgement. A way to grow - individually and together.
Whether I’m cooking for a small group, teaching children, or hosting an Ital event, my intention stays the same: to educate, inspire, and encourage - through experience, one tasty bite at a time.
